We're so excited to take part in this October conference in Newfoundland. We'll give the opening night keynote, teach 2 workshops on worship leading, & give a closing night concert.

The Newfoundland Anglican newspaper gave us almost a full page article sharing the news of our upcoming tour!

Our first visit to Campobello Island, NB! We performed a concert for the community on Friday, and sang for the seniors home on Saturday. Our good friend, Rev. Bob Smith joined us on violin!

Campobello Island was the summer home of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and his family. This plaque in St. Anne's Church commemorates his membership in the parish.

St. Anne's Anglican Church, Campobello. Can't you imagine worshipping here with a vacationing president?

Thanks to Rev. Keith and Vivian Osborne for a wonderful welcome in Pennfield, NB. This ecumenical concert brought together several churches in the area, and became a true night of worship!

In 2001, St. John's Lunenburg was destroyed by fire. A few years later, we - as a young, dating couple - performed in a Toronto fundraiser for the rebuilding. How awesome to visit the restored church and sing in its sacred space!

The stunning sanctuary of St. John's, Lunenburg. The photos just don't capture the beauty of this place...

The hand-carved altar. If you look to the right, you'll see a burn mark left by the fire. In restoring the church, the artisans left a few burn marks to remind future generations of the fire and the loving process of rebuilding the church.

St John's hosts artists in residence. This mural was created by one of the artists, showing the 5 local churches and their role in the community.

Post-concert dinner with singer-songwriter George and Barbara Diamond. We're so blessed to connect with folks in our travels - George went to school with Allison's Mom!

Allison met up with longtime family friend, Reg MacDonald in Lunenburg. He brought along a photo of a young, blond-haired little Allison!

The imposing Lunenburg Academy. Built in 1895, it served for many years as a grade school. This season, it will host a graduate opera program. What an inspiring building for music study!

Worship Leading Workshop, Corner Brook. We taught the group our arrangement for I Heard The Voice Of Jesus Say, and they joined us in the concert that night. Great work, everyone!

Our friend, Nora, organized a very special concert in Cow Head. Cow Head was Allison's Dad's first parish as a newly ordained minister!

Beautiful afternoon at Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse. The lighthouse was built 1897 by shipping the iron pieces from St. John's and pulling them up the hill by oxen.

Amazing views at Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse. The flags were a code used to communicate between the lighthouse keeper and the ship captains. Today's flags read s-a-l-t-w-a-t-e-r

Such a special night singing at St. James' Church in Botwood. Allison's family has attended this church for generations. After the concert with Aunt Pauline, Uncle Melvin, and Rev. Larry.

The cranberry fields are planted in bogs, and the berries themselves form under the low growing plants.

A sample of our harvest! Tonight, we'll enjoy orange cranberry muffins, and tomorrow, they'll be part of our Thanksgiving feast.

Sound check for the guitar. Recording Heart Matters tv show in the sanctuary of Evangel Pentecostal Church, Gander, NL

Beautiful St. Luke's Church in Newtown, NL. Its perfect waterside setting makes it one of the most photographed churches in the country.

After our wonderful night at St. John The Evangelist Church, Topsail, NL. Thanks, Stephanie, for organizing such a special event!
