The last moments of long hair! Deciding how much we can actually donate.

To prepare for the donation, the hair has to be clean, dry, product-free, and divided into ponytails. The hair will be cut just above the elastics.

Donations need to be a minimum of 8 inches long. After measuring, we decided to donate 10 inches.

The cut is done! Two 10-inch ponytails!

The ponytails are secured with elastics, placed in a plastic bag, and are ready for shipping.

How many people do you think mailed their hair today? The ponytails are packed, stamped, and ready to go! Next step, they'll be made into a wig, and given to a deserving cancer patient.
